The Western Front Today - Railway Dugout Burial Ground (Transport Farm)

An Advanced Dressing Station, sheltered in dugouts in the embankment and in the building of a nearby farm (Transport Farm) comprised the majority of burials contained in Railway Dugout Burial Ground.

Following the end of the war reburials from the surrounding battlefield were also added to the cemetery.  Contained within the cemetery are 1,661 British, 636 Canadian, 154 Australian, 4 German, 3 Indian, 1 British West Indian and 2 unidentified soldiers.
