The Western Front Today - Menin Road South Cemetery

There were once two CWGC cemeteries which stood opposite each other across the Menin Road in the Ypres Salient.

However Menin Road North cemetery was subsequently amalgamated with the remaining Menin Road South cemetery.

A large cemetery it holds 1,580 burials of which 1,051 are from the U.K.

The cemetery also contains a single German grave.

The cemetery also contains 79 special memorials.
