The Western Front Today - Aveluy Wood Cemetery

Aveluy Wood (Lancashire Dump) cemetery, located in Mesnil-Martinsart on the Somme battlefields, was established in June 1916.  It contains 334 U.K. and 26 Australian burials.  Also contained with the cemetery are 20 special memorials.
