This page of the Who's Who section of the site lists biographical entries by country - in this case, Poland, a nation carved up and controlled by several European powers during the late nineteenth century.

At present two biographical sketches are included, that of Polish nationalist Josef Pilsudski and internationally renowned pianist and composer Ignace Paderewski.

The first zeppelin raid on London was on 31 May 1915.  Earlier raids in January 1915 had avoided London.  The London raid resulted in 28 deaths and 60 injuries.
