Sited next to the 16th (Irish) Division Memorial in Wytschaete (or 'White Sheet' as it was commonly referred to during wartime), Wytschaete cemetery contains 486 U.K., 31 Australian, 19 Canadian, 11 South African, 7 New Zealand, 1 German and 673 unknown burials. The cemetery also contains some 25 special memorials. It was established after the war by concentrating graves from other sites in the vicinity.
