The Western Front Today - Delville Wood Cemetery

Sited opposite the Delville Wood South African Memorial, Delville Wood cemetery in Longueval contains 5,493 burials of which some two-thirds are unknown.  151 burials are of South African troops.

The cemetery comprises burials concentrated from ten (possibly more) Somme battlefield cemeteries following the war.
